Musician and producer Youth joins writers Miles and Pat Thomas in conversation on  Ginsberg as musician and muse. Jesse Goodman and Peter Hale will introduce The Fall of America, two albums of  compositions based on Ginsberg readings by artists including Scanner, Thurston Moore,  Yo La Tengo, Angelique Kidjo and Devandra Bernhardt followed by screening of selected videos  from the project, as well as live music from Youth and special guests.

Miles and Iain Sinclair discuss Allen Ginsberg’s impact on the British counterculture. The conversation will be followed by a screening of Sinclair’s film Ah, Sunflower and Peter Whitehead’s Wholly Communion, as well as a sequence of previously unseen footage of Allen shot by Peter Whitehead (courtesy of  the Whitehead Estate).

Launch of Pat Thomas’s book Material Wealth: Mining the Personal Archive of Allen Ginsberg, with a discussion between the author and Peter Hale, representing the Allen Ginsberg Estate. Pat and Peter will join in conversation with Rozemin Keshvani, followed by performances from poet Aidan Dun and legendary guitarist Wizz Jones.
