Billy Chainsaw presents a world premiere of Emma Dark’s short film Purgatoric which will be preceded by a selection of award winning filmmaker Geoff Harmer short films followed by a live interview with Billy Chainsaw & audience Q & A.
‘PURGATORIC’ is an experimental art film from award-winning filmmaker Emma Dark. Shot digitally it has been affected in post production to give it a Super 8mm look and feel. The film explores themes of death, sadness, uncertainty, and ultimately, hope. PURGATORIC stars cult film and arts icon Billy Chainsaw, with music by London based band The Core.
The film will be preceded by a live performance art piece featuring Billy Chainsaw, directed by Emma Dark.

GEOFF HARMER started out making short animations on Super 8mm film when he was just 6 years old, and is now an accomplished filmmaker with numerous awards and international screenings under his belt. From his first feature film ‘Addict’ to festival favorite short ‘Selfie’, his films always give audiences something to talk about. His next film will be the Practical FX driven short horror/comedy ‘Dead Air’ which is currently in post-production.
