Gutter Sprung presents Sonic Voyaging, a dialog between dancers and musicians
Sonic Voyaging is a project that arises from researching the connection between music and dance, shaped as an improvised dialogue between both. The result is a live research sharing of the connections between these two forms of expression through a performative lens.
The project seeks to escape the usual creative process and presentation format of these artistic areas. This is not by chance, but by choice, as we are precisely interested in exploring the possibility of presenting something that has an immediate and spontaneous nature, in which we allow certain aspects of creation to be beyond our control. We use a method that is felt and not formatted, essentially consisting of a brief creative process that requires a concentration focused on the ephemerality of sharing, and that takes place in three phases.
