The RAFT Sunday Service (with Mikey Kirkpatrick)

During the pandemic lockdowns, Mikey Kirkpatrick performed over two-hundred daily live improvised flute-loop performances via internet radio. Amazed by the power and potential of carving a regular digital space for creating a strong sense of community and connection, a congregation where all believers and non-believers, gods and godless are welcome. Inspired by Le Monte Young’s Dream House in New York, Mikey Kirkpatrick will bring his flute-loop meditations into the Horse Hospital for a series of live immersive improvised Sunday Services, inviting us to drop in and listen, rest, dream, sleep, float, write, read, draw, meditate, drink tea, drink wine… whatever feels right… while he draws on the energy of the day and the room and composes live on the spot. You may also want to bring an instrument or your voice and improvise with him… All welcome.
